Privacy Policy

K & A Performance is a web design and AI integration studio based in Florida. This policy explains what information ka-performancefl.com collects, why, and who it is shared with. This includes enquiries, optional advertising measurement, AI tools, and free course signup and learning features.
Information you give us
When you use our contact, project, AI Launch or training enquiry forms, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number where requested, and any company name, service interest, budget range, or project details you choose to share. These submissions are delivered to us by Resend, an email delivery service that passes the message to our business inbox. We use it to reply to you and to keep ordinary business records of the enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Free course and optional learning analytics
Course signup collects your email and any first name you provide. It is stored in Cloudflare D1 and sent through Resend to our business inbox. The signup includes occasional emails, as described beside the form; each includes an unsubscribe link. Enquiry forms do not subscribe you to that list.
If you separately accept Analytics, the interactive first-session course sends chapter views and completions to our course database. Where the course access cookie contains a signup token, those events can be linked to your course signup. Rejecting or withdrawing analytics stops new events and keeps your access and saved local progress. It does not delete earlier records or unsubscribe you from emails.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us a mobile number and ask us in writing to text you, we use that number to send customer care messages about your appointment, your enquiry, or your project: scheduling, confirmations, reschedules and reminders, replies to what you asked, project updates, and invoice or billing notices. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. We do not treat a phone number entered on an enquiry form as permission to send texts.
We keep a record of the number, the consent you gave, and the date you gave it, because telecoms rules require us to be able to show that you asked to be texted. To stop, reply STOP to any message from us, or email [email protected]. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. To send those messages we use Twilio, a messaging provider that delivers the text to your mobile carrier on our behalf and processes your number only for that purpose. Your mobile carrier also handles the message in order to deliver it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not use them for anything other than the customer care messages described above.
AI chat on this site
Some pages offer a chat assistant that answers questions about our work and helps scope a project. The messages you type are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply, and the reply is returned to your browser. The site guide endpoint does not write chat conversations to our database. This does not describe provider or infrastructure logs or their retention. Please do not type sensitive personal information, passwords, or confidential material into the chat.
Voice demo
If you choose Start talking in the services-page voice demo, the site connects to ElevenLabs and asks for microphone access. Audio you provide is sent to ElevenLabs for the conversation. Do not share sensitive or confidential information. Ending the call stops that conversation; it does not promise deletion of provider records.
Advertising measurement (Meta pixel)
If you accept Marketing in Privacy choices, this site loads Meta pixel technology to measure how our advertising performs. Before that choice, it does not load the pixel or send its events. The pixel records that a page was viewed and that a contact form was completed, along with standard technical information such as your browser, device, and IP address, and it may set or read cookies. Meta handles information it receives under its own privacy policy. We do not send enquiry field values to Meta through our Lead event.
You can control how this information is used for advertising through your Facebook ad preferences, and through Meta’s privacy policy. Browser settings, tracking protection, and ad blockers will also prevent the pixel from loading, and the site works normally without it.
Information collected automatically
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server and security logs (including IP addresses) to serve pages and protect against abuse. Our public Google reviews are fetched from the Google Places API by our server; that request contains no information about you.
Cookies
The ka_privacy cookie remembers your choices for up to 180 days. After Marketing is accepted, ka_src can remember the referring partner for up to 90 days and is used with a later enquiry or course signup. Meta may set its own advertising cookies. The ka_course cookie lasts up to one year, is renewed when you access course pages, and keeps the requested course available. Course progress and practice notes can be saved in your browser's local storage. Those learning features do not require analytics or marketing permission. Cloudflare can also use necessary security cookies. Cookie lifetimes do not specify how long business records or provider logs are retained.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] so we can review your request. Open to accept, reject, customize or withdraw optional analytics and marketing. Rejecting these does not stop enquiry forms, course access or the AI tools you choose to use. Withdrawing Marketing reloads the page to stop the loaded pixel and removes its accessible first-party cookies and our referral cookie. Save unfinished form text first. This does not recall information already sent. You can stop our text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can also decline to use the forms or chat entirely, and browse the site with tracking protection enabled.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
